I solved the “viewing PDF problem” by clearing history in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on Mac and Windows when a PDF fails to load! But now with the new version 3.0.4, the browser page cache/history clearing issue may be less of a problem – Thank you

View a PDF Managed by Download Monitor with Display Statistics
In this example, the PDF.js Viewer Shortcode plugin is used to view a PDF file from a secure directory managed by the Download Monitor plugin. To access the PDF file and to manage file activity statistics, I wrote two PHP scrips using the Code Snippets plugin. I added a new admin option for Download Monitor’s Dashboard to view the statistics for all files managed by Download Monitor (including from PDF.js).
